American Express gave small businesses the chance to create personalised digital advertising to help increase their online visibility.
The complimentary Ad Creator tool was available to all small businesses participating in the Shop Small Promotion in December 2016.
The Ad Creator tool allows eligible small businesses to create one personalised online ad for each of their participating locations at no cost to them.
American Express takes care of promoting the ad online, using the business location to geographically target potential customers located in or near their area.
Customers were directed to the business’ website, Facebook or Twitter page provided during the ad creation process. If no business URL is provided they were automatically directed to amexshopsmall.co.uk Small business owners could also use the personalised ad in their own marketing and on their social media sites to help spread the word. Small business owners created their ads which were promoted during the Shop Small Promotion (which was 3 – 18 December in 2016).
American Express makes it simple to get involved, ensuring small businesses owners across the UK could easily spread the word about their unique offering in their local area in the lead up to Christmas.
