01.Abode Living

“This shop really is what my interior dreams are made of. It’s as if each piece has been picked to work with the next, which means that you’re left wanting and needing absolutely everything! It really is a struggle not to leave with at least one piece every time you visit. Abode Living’s signature piece has to be their kitchenware. I picked up the most beautiful little orange plate that I plan on popping my favourite earrings onto, it’s the perfect size, and is oh so pretty.”

02.Nola Boutique

“Nola Boutique is another shop that I just can’t quite walk past without slowing right down, and then inevitably walking inside. It’s just too pretty. From the most beautiful clothing, to candles and throws, it may be small but it is bursting with loveliness! I picked up some super lovely gold hexagon studs and haven’t taken them off since!”

03.The Treatment Rooms

“The Treatment Rooms oozes relaxation and calm. If you’re after a pamper, a treat, or the perfect gift for someone, this is your place. The list of treatments is almost endless, but I would totally recommend the rose facial or a hot stone massage – both are beyond dreamy! Being so well-known in Brighton as a great place to be pampered makes it very difficult to imagine going anywhere else!”

04.This Is Not A Butchers

“In my opinion, This Is Not A Butchers is a present buyer’s dream, packed wall to wall, and from the floor upwards with the most random, but brilliant little bit and bobs. When I say there’s something for everyone, I’m really not over exaggerating! If you’re buying for someone and you just don’t know what to pick, or can’t quite think of what to get your secret santa, I think this is the perfect shop. I’m planning on doing a whole load more traveling next year, so picked up the cutest little travel journal!”

05.City Books

“Book shops are some of my favourite places and this one is my go-to fave. It may be small in size but it’s literally bursting with every type of read you could imagine. For me their cookbook selection is just the best. What I love so much about this little haven is that it not only has all the classics, but also so many unusual and local books you would not expect to find! When I spotted the cookbook “26 Grains” by Alex Hely-Hutchinson, I just had to add it to my collection!

06.Jaba Yard

“Placed right in the centre of the North Laine area, Jaba Yard really is hard to miss. Packed full of goodness, this family run shop has such a lovely, cosy atmosphere about it. Full of a variety of different pieces, from clothes and jewellery to homeware and accessories, for me, it’s the perfect place to shop for gifts or, of course, when you just fancy treating yourself! I went for a hexagon shaped glass planter which is just the right size for my latest cacti!”
